Zenga.hu noted that the average price was just a fraction over the HUF 1.5m/sqm eligibility threshold for the Home Start subsidised credit scheme for first-time home buyers which launched in September.
Meanwhile, market share of subsidised home loans for families raising children grows
Subsidised CSOK Plusz home loans for families raising children accounted for 13.2pc of all mortgages in the first quarter, up from 10.4pc in Q4, an analysis by real estate broker Duna House shows.
The CSOK Plusz ratio stood at 11.6pc in the capital, 14.7pc in the west and 15.9pc in the east of the country.
