Leading Hungarian Facility Management Giant B+N Becomes LIWO Group
- 4 Mar 2026 5:29 AM
From 1 March 2026, B+N Group will operate under a single international brand, LIWO Group.
The name change does not involve any alteration to ownership or operations, but clearly reflects the company’s professional achievements and international business ambitions. The introduction of the new brand supports further market development and expansion.
The name LIWO derives from the company’s former slogan, “We are working for a more liveable world”, encapsulating this philosophy in the LIWO acronym and expressing the Group’s commitment to creating a more liveable environment and ensuring sustainable operations.
The Hungarian-owned LIWO Group, with more than 30 years of professional experience, is Hungary’s leading full-service facility management provider. Its Hungarian subsidiary, B+N Magyarország Kft., employs nearly 16,000 people in Hungary, making it one of the country’s three largest employers.
In recent years, the Group has become a leading facility management provider in Central and Eastern Europe.
In addition to Hungary, it operates in eight countries — Germany, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania and Bulgaria — employing nearly 30,000 people through its subsidiaries. The company benefits from an extensive domestic and regional logistics network, a central warehouse base and a stable operational infrastructure.
Through its subsidiaries, the Group provides facility management services at approximately 21,000 sites. Its service portfolio ranges from technical facility operations and industrial and specialised cleaning to security services and green space management.
Its market-leading position is built on a stable and highly skilled workforce, standardised and audited process systems, and an engineering-supported service model.
LIWO Group places strong emphasis on innovation and technological development; its professional excellence is confirmed by numerous international certifications and industry awards.
Uniquely within the Hungarian market, the company operates an independent research and development department and its own training centres to support continuous service improvement and quality assurance.
It is also at the forefront globally in the application of autonomous cleaning technologies: according to the FieldBots Radar 2025 international survey, LIWO Group operates the world’s eighth-largest fleet of cleaning robots.
Sustainability, corporate social responsibility and the promotion of labour market integration are defining elements of the company’s operations. Its automated, transparent and regularly audited processes, together with its quality-driven service model, provide a stable foundation for continued international growth.
The Group’s subsidiary focusing on Hungarian operations, B+N Magyarország Kft., will continue to operate under its existing name.
