The most popular choices, from the six new vintages tasted, seemed to be Szeremley Echo 2004 - Badacsony; Domaine Gróf Zichy Merlot Barrique 2003 - Szekszárd; Disznókö Late Harvest 2003 - Tokaj.

Mr Adrian Ellis, the hotel General Manager greeted guests and welcomed the Xpat Wine Club back again in future. Delicious creations from the hotel chef Philippe Derrien, accompanied by soft drinks.

The luxury 'nibbles' menu included: Smoked Salmon crostini, Seared Tuna with Tabouleh, Basil Tartlet with Olive Tapenade and Ratatouille, Minced Goose and Apple Doughnut, Mini Lamb Kofta, Leek and Roquefort Pie, Tokaji Mousse, Chocolate Mousse in a cup.

'Hungary, Its Fine Wines and Winemakers,' a new wine book by author David Copp, was promoted and presented to a lucky business card draw winner, plus three bottles of Dobogó Mylitta 2003 were awarded to Xpats who entertained follow guest with wine quotations, poems and stories.
