St. Andrew's Day Party, Caledonia Budapest, November 30
The Caledonia bar in Budapest hosted a St. Andrew's Day celebration last Thursday in the traditional Scottish way: by throwing a fantastic party!
Some of the evening's highlights were a bagpipe musician, a live Celtic band, a party magician, plus an assortment of Scottish "stovies" including some haggis, plenty of fine whisky and beer, and a great mix of international company.
Kiltless guests were invited to wear makeshift paper kilts, however a large number of guests were sporting the real thing. The bar was decked in combination Scottish and Christmas cheer, with ornaments and garlands in the windows and large Scottish flags hanging from the ceiling.
