Davy Byrne's Budapest Official Opening

They have chosen Samhain, (Halloween) an ancient Irish holiday celebrating the end of the harvest, to officially announce Davy Byrne's opening here in Budapest.

Program:

17:00-18:00 Trick or treating for the kids! The little ones could experience fun Halloween games and trick or treating. Each of the games came with a small prize and all who participate were guaranteed to win something. Adults could enjoy some liquid treats while their little ones play!

18:30-19:30 A representative from O Hara's participated in a O Hara's beer and cider tasting. He was talking about the wonderful O Hara products and guests were able to taste each of the offerings!

Around 21:00, the Irish Ambassador said a few words in recognition of the opening, and welcomed an Irish business to the Budapest/Hungarian community. He also said a few words about the ancient holiday of Samhain and its importance to Irish history.

From 21:30 till late, Paddy and the Sweaty Socks rocked out some amazing Irish and contemporary tunes, guest could also sing along!
