1. When did you arrive in Hungary and what brought you here?
I came here in February, 1984 because my wife is Hungarian and I was also attracted by the country and the people living here.

No

3. What surprised you most about Hungary?
The fact that you could be much more free than in the DDR (East Germany).

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
Sightseeing: Downtown, Margarita-Island, Castle area, Citadelle and
Barbecue party in the evening

5. What is your favourite Hungarian food?
Fish soup

6. What is never missing from your refrigerator?
Cold cuts, eggs, beer :-)

7. What is your favourite Hungarian word?
Szeretet

8. What do you miss the most from home?
German bread, Vienna bread, cold cuts.

Printer/typographer
