1. Where did you grow up?
I was born in Szikszó and grew up near, in Miskolc. I lived in Budapest twice for short periods, but many things brought me back to Miskolc where I live now.
2. If you could be an expat anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
Luxembourg. Partly due to personal bonds and partly technological companies have their European headquarters there. At the same time, I have a mysterious bond to Scandinavian countries (primarily to Norway): I have not explored either of these countries yet, which would be a real driver in case of a move.
3. What would you miss most if you moved away from Hungary?
Things that cannot be taken away: tolerable size cities, touristic beauties.
4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
A weekend is not enough for Budapest, so I might take them out of the city, to the Danube Bend.
5. What is your favourite food?
Anything that has poppy seeds in it :-). Seriously: raclette dishes right now.
6. What is your favourite sport / form of exercise?
Definitely squash. Love the speed, and the fast results.
7. What is your favourite place in Hungary?
It has always been the Bükk. At 18 years old, I could do 50km hikes, nowadays I prefer a 2 hour walk and a great lunch at the local trout restaurant.
8. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
Recently I have become interested in human issues, relationships, therefore it is surely something to do with psychology.
9. What’s a job you would definitely never want?
A job where I cannot create something new, that has no creativity and that has constant monotony. I’m hungry for success and very motivated, therefore cannot imagine doing something day after day, where I find no change to the previous days.
10. Where did you spend your last vacation?
Near Side, Turkey. It was the first time our daughter saw the sea. We already promised her the next trip.
11. Where do you hope to spend your next one?
We already planned it: at spring we are going on a tour in Luxembourg, the largest tulip garden in the Netherlands and a few days in Paris.
12. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
Basically all sorts of pop music. Few know that I was a DJ for a while and had a club of my own for a year. The internet did not really exist back then. :-)
13. Apart of temptation what can't you resist?
When my daughter hugs me asking me not to go to work. This is one of the hardest moments, difficult to resist and there have been occasions when she won :-)
14. Red wine or white?
Virgin Mojito :-). I’m strictly non-alcoholic.
15. Book or movie?
Definitely films on weekday evenings, I can recharge my batteries this way. Speaking about books, I almost exclusively read business books only in the past 10 years.
16. Morning person or night person?
Absolutely night person. Life begins at 10 a.m. :-), of course.
17. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?
I have achieved everything so far without ever having a mentor, a person near me who could have guided me in my goals and development. I have started to do this – even though only in my immediate neighbourhood – and I’m trying to guide a few young. They might not spend their life aimlessly as most do…
18. Buda or Pest side?
Pest.
19. Which achievement in your life are you most pleased about?
That my consulting activities and personal brand under DUNDER.HU could grow strong despite the ecomic crisis and as a continuation of which we have been able to create our Growww Digital agency in 2013.
20. What would you say is your personal motto?
I’ve found once on facebook this one: “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”
