XpatLoop Interview: Casey Aitken, Share My Table Budapest
Casey Aitken, 26, from Melbourne Australia.

I am a HUGE foodie, who enjoys experiencing new cuisines, sipping a glass of wine and cooking up a storm. I enjoy yoga, movies and tracking down the best barista in town. I love to travel and since being bitten by the travel bug 8 years ago, I have explored over 20 countries on 4 continents. My favourite places have been southern Spain, New York, Kyoto and Budapest.

In May 2013 I threw in the towel as a a business consultant in the consumer products industry and embarked on a journey of the lifetime to explore the world and engage in new communities. In November last year, this journey led me to Budapest. I instantly fell in love and decided I wanted to share my love for food with this beautiful city. Since then I have started Share My Table which brings people together to learn to cook, meet new people and enjoy good food, from the comfort of my own apartment. This is just one way I am connecting with others on my adventures.
