1. When did you arrive in Hungary and what brought you here?

I came to Budapest first in 2017 to check on my friend's business.

2. Have you ever been an expatriate elsewhere?

I lived and travelled in Asia for a year and half, in Thailand, Laos,India, Nepal, and in South America  Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia Peru, Colombia, Mexico, and aso in Las Vegas, Chicago and LA.

3. What surprised you most about Hungary?

The most surprising thing for me was the beautiful architecture in Budapest, with its wide streets and avenues. I saw lots of people in the city but I still felt that I have my own space. This is something you cannot really say if you live in a big busy city in the USA.

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?

I will take them for sure on an EZ Raider with me to cross the Danube bridges and see the view from Fishermans Bastion up in the Buda Castle.

5. What is your favourite Hungarian food?

A good goulash made in the backyard - nothing can be better than that!

6. What is never missing from your refrigerator?

It sounds super lame but sparkling water.

7. What is your favourite Hungarian word?

The favorite word would be Rózsaszin cause it does not sound like such a soft word as pink.

8. What do you miss most from home?

Defintly the variety and the quality of the food.

9. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?

I played basketball when I was young. I didn't pursue it as a professional job because I had a very serious injury on my right knee when I served in the army.  If it wasn't for that injury, most likely I would pursue this dream of mine and be a professional basketball player.

10. What's a job you would definitely never want?

Any kind of office job. I don't like to sit all day for long in front of a computer. All my life I took jobs where I had more freedom than that and the possibility to work from wherever and whenever I wanted.

11. Where did you spend your last vacation?

I think it must have been in 2019 before the pandemic hit the world. I was in London for a few days, enjoying the city.

Not being able to travel, I think that was one of the hardest things for me during the pandemic. I know it might sound like I'm a bit spoiled but travelling is something that inspires me, seeing other cultures, meeting new people, making new friends everywhere I go, this is what fuels me.

12. Where do you hope to spend your next holiday?

I grew up next to the beach therefore i need something that reminds me of home. I hope travelling will revive after these hard Covid times, as I really feel like everyone deserves to turn their mind off from all the negative energy we were living in during the crazy times of the pandemic.

I would love to travel to Costa Rica, be little bit away from the busy cities and just find a spot to stay next to the water.

13. Apart of temptation what can't you resist?

Very easy answer: a good beer and good hamburger I can never say no to that.

Also, scuba diving in the Red Sea. A ticket to Burning Man. In general I'm a spontaneous person so unless I'm working then I'm all in for any kind of new experiences.

14. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?

My favorite band is Guns & Roses. I loved all their songs, and especially Axl Rose and Slash.

Today I'm listening more electronic music such as techno and all kind of trance. One of my new hobbis is playing with a DJ controller, I would love to play on events for my friends or even at a bar someday.

15. Red wine or white?

Red wine and white, depends on the mood and the event or what kind of dinner it is.

16. Book or movie?

Books when I'm on a holiday, when my mind doesn't need to focus on work all the time.

Watching a movie, for me that can be a weekly program, to go to the cinema, or just at home and choosing an interesting 'not so Hollywood' style movie.

17. Morning person or night person?

Night person, without a question. Somehow I like to work during the nights. Also, there were times I used to go to the gym at 2-3 am in the morning.

18. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?
Climate change and destroying the Amazonas.

19. Buda or Pest side?

I think I would go with Pest, as I spend most of my time on the Pest side. I like the bars, the restaurants more on this side of the river.

20. What would you say is your personal motto?

Live like there is no tomorrow, or at least try to.

Spend your time on things that you want and don't spend time on running after your own tail.

Don't give a dime on what other people think of you, just be who you are.
