He has more than 30 years of experience in the car rental industry. His professional knowledge and leadership skills have made a significant impact on the domestic car rental industry.

1. Where did you grow up?

In Budapest, the 7th District near Városliget.  I was part of the Liget Gang.

2. If you could be an expat anywhere in the world, where would you choose?

Italy, as I like the feeling of the city life there, where I can see older people sitting in a restaurant with a presso coffee, they take time to talk, and they are open.

3. What would you miss most if you moved away from Hungary?

Of course my friends and family, and our history, culture, and if I were to leave Zselic, I would miss the forest.

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?

The Buda castle, plus the Danube bend, like Visegrád and the castle there, plus the Boldogkő vára, and Regéci Castle in Zemplén.

5. What is your favourite food?

The real Hungarian fishermans soup - spicy style. Also Stuffed Cabbage. I must say I do like fish and seafood as well.

6. What is your favourite sport / form of exercise?

I like swimming. I can swim very well, and can even do the butterfly stroke. In the water I forget everything. I swim outdoors at Zselic my current home town in the little lakes there. It is good for my health and I do it regularly.

7. What is your favourite place in Hungary?

Right now, my home village, but I love Budapest as well.

8. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?

Scientist of the sea.

9. What’s a job you would definitely never want?

Debt collector.

10. Where did you spend your last vacation?

With my wife and our 5 children in Croatia. I also spent some very nice time in Hargita county in Transylvania, in a cottage with no electricity. I have been there six times at Zetelaka and Varság. Also I was in Greece, just with my wife, for a week.

11. Where do you hope to spend your next one?

It is a dream to have a holiday just with my wife every year.

12. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?

I read a lot of books back then. I was also a water polo player.
Film: Tanu was a funny movie in the age of communism, and showed the finger to the system.

13. Apart of temptation what can't you resist?

Sweets!

14. Red wine or white?

White. During summer I like fröccs with Irsai Olivér. And also Muskat, the dry variety, from Csopak.

15. Book or movie?

Now, movies. Most recently I saw the classic one with Morgan Freeman called The Shawshank Redemption.

16. Morning person or night person?

Morning.

17. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?

Migration, especially in Hungary, and the rights of the LMBTQ community.

18. Buda or Pest side?

Pest.

19. Which achievement in your life are you most pleased about?

The size of my lovely family.

20. What would you say is your personal motto? 

I am old enough but not yet wise enough to answer this question 😊
