1. Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Gyöngyös, a small town about 80 km from Budapest, Hungary.

2. If you could be an expat anywhere in the world, where would you choose?

I really love Berlin — I could imagine living there anytime.

3. What would you miss most if you moved away from Hungary?

Definitely my family, and all the emotions I have here. I have a lot of very positive memories connected to Hungary.

4. When did you first pick up a camera?

I had my father’s camera in my hands quite often as a kid, but I really got into photography at around 16. Back then, I used to shoot BMX riders at a local skatepark.

5. What is your favourite photography subject or field?

Definitely event photography.

6. How long have you been working in this field?

I’ve been working as a Budapest-based event photographer for over 15 years, and I still haven’t gotten bored of it.

7. What achievement in your career are you most proud of?

Working abroad is always especially exciting for me. I love traveling, and I love photography — so combining the two is a real joy. I’ve worked in Berlin, Greece, and Spain, and all of those experiences were very memorable.

8. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?

I know it’s a tough field, but I’d love to work in hospitality. I’ve always been fascinated by the world of restaurants.

9. What’s a job you would definitely never want?

Anything repetitive. I really don’t handle that well.

10. Where did you spend your last vacation?

I spent my last vacation in Thailand in January — it was amazing.

11. Where do you hope to spend your next one?

Most likely Japan.

12. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?

I was really into indie rock bands, and I was also into extreme sports — that whole culture was a big part of my teenage years.

13. Apart from temptation, what can't you resist?

I can never resist a really good restaurant experience.

14. Red wine or white?

Red, definitely.

15. Book or movie?

Depends on the mood — books in the evening, movies during the day.

16. Morning person or night person?

Definitely a morning person.

17. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?

I care a lot about animal welfare and mental health.

18. Buda or Pest side?

Buda, definitely.

19. What life lesson has had the biggest impact on your life?

That if you face your fears, you can achieve almost anything.

20. What would you say is your personal motto?

Everything starts in the mind.
