Xpat Wine Club held its spring event at Veritas Wine Bar on Friday 27 April, with the usual mix of new and veteran expats from a range of countries as well as Hungarians, all lubricated by that truth-promoting tipple. As at all Xpat Wine Club events, the atmosphere was open and friendly, easing the way to make new contacts and relationships, both business and personal.

Magyar Telekom has announced the resignation of its chief executive Christopher Mattheisen, who will leave the company on July 1 after many years in charge of the giant Hungarian company. He will be replaced by Tibor Rékasi.
