"Budapest Airport, operator of the city’s international airport, will have to pay Ft 2.25 billion in taxes this year, more than three times the Ft 675 million paid last year, under a bill passed by Parliament yesterday. The bill, put forward by 17th District Fidesz mayor Levente Riz, rezones much of the airport land to make it subject to local taxes.
