The free event, which starts at 4.30 pm on each of the three days, will once again bring to the stage six extremely promising up-and-coming bands selected by a preliminary jury from a host of applicants.

The process of the election begins with the nomination period: influencers, wine writers are asked to name the winemaker of their choice and then members of Hungarian Wine Academy vote for one of the 5 candidates (the candidates are those who receive the most nominations).

An unfortunate but ultimately comprehensive defeat in Amsterdam on Saturday evening means Hungary will finish third in their group and contest a play-off tie in March for the right to play in League A next time. Meanwhile, Ádám Szalai is in a stable condition in hospital after the assistant coach fell ill by the side of the pitch in the game's early stages and was taken to hospital.
