Aquincum, the ancestor of Budapest, was a major Roman settlement in Hungary from the first century B.C. to the fifth century A.D. Over the last few years the 'Floralia' festival has become a popular family-friendly program there in the 3rd district of Budapest. The event offers a wide variety of programs including encountersoldiers, gladiators, craftspeople and actors.
