Autumn Festival by Lake Balaton: Enjoy Local Flavours at Szigliget’s Süllő Fest

This autumn, Szigliget once again hosts its annual Süllő Festival, a lakeside celebration of food, wine and community. Held right on the beach, the event brings together traditional dishes, freshly prepared fish, local wines and family-friendly entertainment – all with Lake Balaton as the backdrop.

The second edition of FügeFeszt will take place between 10 - 12 October on the lakeside beach in Badacsony, bringing together gastronomy, culture and music against the backdrop of Lake Balaton in autumn. One highlight will be the announcement of which dessert earns the title of “Balaton Cake 2025.”

According to the organizers of Füge Feszt, there isn’t just one season, but many seasons, and Lake Balaton offers excitement all year round, making it worth anchoring by the shore. This autumn, for the first time, the unique Füge Feszt (Fig Fest) will be held at a special, direct lakeside location.
