Late Discount: New Night Ticket Offered by Budapest's Sziget Festival
A new ticket category, the “Night Ticket by Revolut,” has been launched on the Sziget Festival’s website, offering a lower-cost option for late-night revellers.

Priced at Ft 21,900, the new pass is roughly 35% cheaper than the standard day ticket.

It allows festival goers to enter the island site after 11:00 p.m. and remain until 8:00 a.m. the following morning.

According to Sziget organisers, a wide range of venues will stay open into the night beyond the Main Stage and popular spots like the Revolut Stage, dropYard, and The Buzz in the central Szoho district.

Night owls can also enjoy late-night programming at the Light Stage, the Beach, and the Jukebox by Havana Club.

After 11 p.m., the festival atmosphere shifts gears with vibrant circus shows, performances at the Nagy Utcaszínház (Grand Street Theatre), and entertainment at the iconic Magic Mirror.

Some of the world’s top electronic artists will take over three venues in the Delta District after dark.

The Yettel Colosseum amphitheatre, the newly upgraded BOLT Night Stage, and the brand-new space The Club will host names like Steve Angello, Boris Brejcha, Amelie Lens, Adriatique, Miss Monique, Vini Vici, Armin van Buuren, Chris Liebing, and The Blessed Madonna.

Hospitality – No Beer Price Increase

This year’s Sziget also aims to elevate the experience in terms of hospitality. At the outset, Kádár highlighted that beer prices will not increase this year. “It’s time to firmly state that Sziget is not an expensive festival. Proof of this is that, despite inflation, ticket prices have not increased, and together with Dreher, we’ve also managed to ensure that beer prices stay the same.

Food options will continue to be available across the festival in various easily accessible food courts, ensuring that everyone can find meals to match their personal taste. The selection includes both traditional Hungarian flavors and international cuisine.

“This year, we’re placing special emphasis on the needs of people with dietary sensitivities and those following plant-based diets,” the festival director noted. Visitors can expect more vegetarian, vegan, and allergen-free options than ever before.

A dedicated stand will also offer only dishes tailored to specific dietary needs, ensuring everyone can find the perfect meal. Premium food vendors will also return, particularly in the VIP areas, but organizers stress that these offerings do not reflect the festival’s general pricing strategy.

The goal remains a high-quality but affordable experience for all. Budget-Friendly options will again be available: all food vendors are required to offer at least one wallet-friendly meal, coordinated in advance with the organizers.

“We’re also prioritizing environmentally conscious solutions with a lower carbon footprint in catering,” said Kádár. Partner vendors are required to use only paper or eco-friendly, biodegradable materials instead of plastic bags, disposable plates, cutlery, or packaging.

These materials will be composted after the festival and repurposed for agricultural use. Vendors who use energy-efficient technologies, build eco-friendly stalls, and prioritize sustainable ingredient sourcing will be favored.

Also continuing this year is Diageo’s DRINKiQ campaign, promoting conscious and responsible alcohol consumption. The campaign provides moderation-focused messages, helpful tips, and alcohol-related information to help festivalgoers enjoy their experience safely.

Visitors can cool off between concerts at the free DRINKiQ water points or the DRINKiQ Oasis, which this year includes even more surprise features to help attendees recharge. Collectible DRINKiQ reusable cups feature moderation messages and QR codes that link to the campaign’s website, where visitors can learn about alcohol’s effects on the body and mind and take a quiz to test their knowledge.

Szitizen Care

“Ensuring festival goers’ physical and mental well-being is becoming increasingly important at festivals worldwide. At Sziget, we want to lead in this area, which is why we launched the Szitizen Care program last year. It was highly appreciated by both visitors and professionals,” said Kádár Tamás.

“Through this program, we want to reinforce the message that the Island of Freedom is a place where everyone can feel safe and welcome, whether they use a wheelchair, come with children, or are part of the LGBTQI community.”

The Szitizen Care “safety net” helps resolve a wide range of issues—from lost passports and special medical needs to emotional support for the rising mental health challenges among younger generations.

This year, the program will place even more emphasis on mental well-being, offering wellness spaces with trained professionals ready to provide friendly conversations or serious support when needed. The number of info and help points around the festival will also increase.
