Tour de Hongrie Cycling Race, 13 - 17 May

This year’s Tour de Hongrie cycling race will take place mainly in southern Hungary from May 13 to 17. Organizers presented the route for the 47th edition in Budapest on Tuesday. The five-stage event will pass through 70 towns in seven counties, with 15 intermediate sprint points for bonus seconds and 12 categorized climbs.

On Saturday 20 January, as always since 2016, the Hungarian Ice Hockey Association will organise the Ice Rink Night,’ Hungarian news agency MTI wrote. According to the MJSZ, the central location will again be the Városliget Ice Rink, and more than thirty rinks will join the event.

Heat and drought are set to intensify in the coming days, the Hungarian Meteorological Service (OMSZ) announced on Monday. Hungary’s main weather forecasting service posted on Facebook that “the situation is tragic” with regard to the drought currently afflicting the country.
