Several dozen young Hungarian prostitutes, some of them hardly older than 18, were abused by their employers in Gent, Belgium, Hungarian and Belgian police said on Sunday. Gábor Bucsek, the director of Hungarian police investigations, said most of the women had been recruited from Baranya County, in south-west Hungary.

New all-stars were added to the VOLT Festival line-up. The organizers announced Thirty Seconds To Mars, You Me at Six, Birdy and many others to this year’s program. A mysterious post on the official Facebook page revealed that the event will be one day longer this time, however details will follow only next week.

Just over 25 percent of Hungary’s debt, amounting to 18.489 billion euros, is in the hands of European banks, business daily Napi Gazdaság said. Of 64 banks assessed by the European Banking Authority, 33 held varying amounts of Hungarian bonds at the end of June.

The Hungarian government has been actively recruiting new citizens from the neighboring countries, presumably to add to their vote total at the next national election. In order to be eligible for citizenship a person must have at least one ancestor who was a Hungarian citizen. He must also have some knowledge of the Hungarian language.
