Winter Beer Festival In Budapest, 17 - 19 February

Hotel Gellért will again host the only winter beer festival in Hungary. Visitors are welcome at the 2nd 'Indoor Beer Festival' which features unlimited beer tasting, as well as a 'Beer Dinner' and a 'Beer Brunch' held in the spirit of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy.

Around 50 different delicious doughnuts, from traditional to new-wave, will be served up to guests at this unique gastro fest. Street food and 'Carnival Dishes' will also feature at Budapest's 1st Doughnut Festival. Hungarian wine, pálinka, beer, and cocktails will be available to wash down the tasty treats the organisers told XpatLoop.

Mulled wine is a beverage of European origins usually made with red wine along with various mulling spices and sometimes raisins. It is served hot or warm and is alcoholic, although there are non-alcoholic versions of mulled wine. It is a traditional drink during winter so you are welcome to try it on Friday, 13 January near Allee Shopping Center between 13 - 15 January from 12:00 to 22:00.
