The authorities have been proactive in ensuring the city is looking at its best at all times with improved infrastructure, new roads linking the neighboring areas like Jomtien Beach, Bang Saray, Sattahip and Rayong, Bang Saen and Sri Racha. 

More International hotel lifestyle brands are opening in Pattaya such as Melia Hotels and The Standard, this will help continue the appeal of Pattaya and Thailand to a wider more diverse range of traveller. 

Jomtien Beach and down towards Bang Saray has expanded and offers its own range of boutique hotels, cafes, restaurants and linked to the new highway allows travellers to stay connected easily with Central Pattaya".
