Police: Surveillance Cameras Alone Can’t Be Used To Fine Drivers

According to hvg.hu, over 700 drivers have been fined based on public space surveillance camera recordings. However, these cameras are not suitable to be used as a basis for fining drivers, the police declared. Last week, Budapest Mayor István Tarlós told drivers who had been fined based on public space surveillance camera recordings not to pay their fine.

György Bakondi told public news channel M1 that 870 migrants were caught in the act of trying to cross the border illegally by border police and 190 people had managed to breach the border fence.
