Hungary’s public media has raised more than 180 million forints (EUR 443,000) for the Hungarian Federation of the Blind and Partially Sighted (MVGYOSZ) as part of its annual “Good to be Good” charity campaign, public current affairs channel M1 said.

A total of 112 buildings or parts of buildings used by police forces across Hungary were temporarily closed before November 15 until the end of the heating season, and 17 others were closed permanently, the website Alfahír reports, citing information received from the National Police.

It appears that Hungary will be given an exemption from the European Union’s planned price cap on Russian oil imports, the minister of foreign affairs and trade said in Brussels on Thursday, adding at the same time that “several dangerous proposals are still on the table”.
