From September 22 – October 1, 2016, the EYEFUL Festival is back for the fifth time, organized jointly by the Embassy of Switzerland, the Austrian Cultural Forum, and the Goethe-Institute. An exhibition of 70-80 paintings by the Hungarian master Mihály Munkácsy (1844-1900) from the collections of the Hungarian National Gallery and the Hungarian-born collector Imre Pákh will open in the Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg in the autumn of 2018.
