Addressing a conference organised by the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Budapest, Orbán said that reducing corporate and personal income taxes as well as employer contributions were necessary to enhance competitiveness.

Fully 57 percent of Hungarian employers have trouble filling positions, a survey conducted by staffing company ManpowerGroup released on Tuesday shows. Altogether 32 percent of the survey’s respondents said they were struggling with a lack of applicants for the vacant positions while 31 percent complained of a shortage of skilled labour.
