Dawn Heat Record Broken in Budapest on Friday

The Lagymanyos weather station measured 18.8 degrees Celsius at dawn on Friday, a new Budapest heat record for this day, the HungaroMet weather service said.

The hottest dawn temperature ever recorded on this day in Budapest so far was 18.1 C, measured in 1932, HungaroMet said on Saturday.
