In Common is an ensemble piece in which 10 performers ”dance” political systems like social choreographies. Sharing the same stage, same language and the same set of ”rules” performers find themselves in positions and problems comparable to those we are familiar with in contemporary democracies.The performers present countless variations on what a ‘common body’ can mean.

In his cooperation with the Munich based ensemble Gitanes Blondes Giora Feidman chose a new path. So far his Klezmer line-ups were groups he put together himself and had them following his sound concepts. In Gitanes Blondes for the first time he met a grown band with their own particular handwriting – in Giora Feidman’s opinon the best Klezmer group, no doubt, he encountered so far.

The Hungarian National Dance Theater's annual festival is always held around the 29th of April, which is the International Day of Dance. Also as usual, this fab festival features a wide mix of dance styles, ballet, contemporary, folk, and more. A range of venues around Budapest welcome local and international dance companies, for a ten day period.

This is not the first time the Szeged Contemporary Dance Company have been featured at the Spring Festival, or have performed with a symphonic orchestra.
