Data from bank cards was stolen from several ATMs in Budapest’s Fourth District between October and December, Budapest Police announced yesterday. Police said a copying device was placed in the card slots of several ATMs, allowing criminals to obtain PIN codes and other data.

Plotinus CEO Viktor Zsiday said fraudsters list shares with a made-up story, drive up the price via offshore companies, then sell off the shares while the price is falling.

We haven’t talked about the tobacconist shops lately, although there is quite a bit to be said about them. First and foremost, that as the result of the newly restricted availability and the price hikes black market sales of cigarettes have soared in the last couple of months. Fewer and fewer people are buying cigarettes at the designated stores.
