The introduction of an electronic road haulage tracking system and the mandatory connection of tills to the tax office have raised the Hungarian state’s revenue by 420 billion forints (EUR 1.35bn) over two years, the economy ministry said. The road haulage tracking system and electronic tills have not only raised direct tax revenues, they have also boosted revenues from excise fees and fines.

The drivers blocked traffic in two lanes out of six on Elisabeth Bridge with a demand that Uber be banned and regulations enforced.
