A record number of 20,750 runners participated in the 29th Vivicittá Run for the City on Sunday, organisers said. The organiser Budapest Sports Office said participants included runners from 770 communities in Hungary as well as more than 1,000 foreigners representing 57 countries from as far afield as Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Pakistan, Vietnam and Venezuela.

Hungary’s hunting and game sector generated revenue of 20.3 billion forints during the 2012/2013 season, the Rural Development Ministry said. Sales of game meat accounted for 5.3 billion of the revenue, surpassing for the first time revenue generated from sales of hunting licences to foreigners.
