Record Numbers Participate In 29th Vivicittá Run In Budapest
A record number of 20,750 runners participated in the 29th Vivicittá Run for the City on Sunday, organisers said. The organiser Budapest Sports Office said participants included runners from 770 communities in Hungary as well as more than 1,000 foreigners representing 57 countries from as far afield as Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Pakistan, Vietnam and Venezuela.

The Vivicittá Budapest Spring Half Marathon offers several courses that include a half-marathon, a 10km race, and a 7km race.

The race guides runners through famous historical landmarks like the Opera House and Parliament, running along both sides of the city along the river.
