With effect from 1 January 2017 William de Gelsey will resign from his position as Chairman of the Board of Hungarian pharmaceutical company Gedeon Richter Plc. Gelsey, who intends to leave his his status as a member of the Board unaffected, will be replaced as chairman by Erik Bogsch, Richter’s Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to the foundation stone being laid for Promenade Gardens, a new large-scale, sustainable office building on Váci út, a press statement sent to the Budapest Business Journal today announced that Celanese Hungary Ltd. will set up its 4,200 square-meter headquarters in the building from April 2018. Colliers International has been assigned the tenant representation mandate.

This is a record fundraising result for XpatLoop's annual bonfire party, with 250 guests uniting for charity. Her Majesty's Ambassador to Hungary wrote afterwards: "Really enjoyed it, very good event." Read on for more ...
