"The fact that Hungary is founding a new university amidst numerous external and internal problems shows that “we do have a future, as finally we believe in ourselves, and shall therefore have the strength to fight a way out of difficulties,” Prime Minister Viktor Orban declared in a speech at the inaugural ceremony of the national Public Service University last week.

Update: We’re delighted to report there’s been a fantastic response to our invitation to mix and mingle with fellow Xpats this Saturday the 5th of November, on ‘Bonfire Night’. Mr Melles has been the Country Manager in Hungary for Air France KLM since August 2009. Originally from Székesfehérvár, he was born on 5 January, and attended the Teleki Blanka Gimnazium until 1998. He went on to read Business Studies at the International Business School in Budapest. He then starting his fast-track career with Nestle in the summer of 2002.
