Presenting the prizes to the winning drivers was Italy’s Ambassador to Hungary, Maria Assunta Accili, a guest of honour at the event, which drew a crowd of over 22,000 spectators.

This annual event was launched back in 2002 by then US Ambassador to Hungary Nancy Goodman Brinker. The walk aims to promote early screening for breast cancer, which is one of Hungary's top causes of death for women.
