1. Where did you grow up?

I was born in Budapest and spent most of my life here. However, at 14, I attended a German-language boarding school in the countryside. It was an incredible experience, teaching me independence and resilience, and I hold fond memories of the serenity and sense of purpose I discovered there.

2. If you could be an expat anywhere in the world, where would you choose?

I lived in Melbourne, Australia, for four years, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The outdoor lifestyle was transformative running along the Yarra River, enjoying outdoor yoga in the parks, and embracing a sense of vitality in everyday life. It was refreshing, though I sometimes missed the edge and creativity that Hungary had in the early days of its market economy.

3. What did you miss most when you moved away from Hungary?

Living abroad made me appreciate Hungary’s unique location as a gateway to Europe. I missed the cultural richness and architecture, but I also longed for the deep sense of creativity and solidarity that I feel is ingrained in European communities.

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?

The Castle District is my favorite part of the city - it’s a peaceful retreat that inspires mindfulness. I recommend walking over the Chain Bridge, riding the funicular railway, exploring the Parliament, and visiting the Shoes on the Danube. It’s a moving reminder of history and resilience, which can spark a sense of purpose.

5. What is your favorite food?

Vegan food is my absolute favorite. I believe food can nourish both body and soul. I have made several dietary changes over the years and experienced positive changes in my health.

6. What is your favorite sport or form of exercise?

Yoga and meditation are my daily anchors for movement and mindfulness. They keep me balanced and centered, no matter how busy life becomes.

7. What is your favorite place in Hungary?

Pannonhalma is incredibly special to me. It’s a serene and spiritual place that fosters mindfulness and creativity. My son attended Benedictine School of Pannonhalma Abby, and the area has a calming energy that always draws me back.

8. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?

I’m fortunate to have found my passion in wellness. Leading the spa team at W Budapest allows me to nurture others’ vitality and serenity. I love what we’ve built together - it’s truly rewarding work.

9. What’s a job you would definitely never want?

I couldn’t be a pilot or flight attendant as Im a bit scared of flying and heights.

10. Where did you spend your last vacation?

I visited the Maldives, where I reconnected with nature and immersed myself in serenity. It was a long-held dream and a perfect retreat for reflection and mindfulness.

11. Where do you hope to spend your next vacation?

I’m planning a trip to the Cayman Islands in February. Escaping to warm, sunny destinations in the winter recharges my vitality and inspires creativity.

12. What was your favorite band, film, or hobby as a teen?

Cycling for hours with my friends in the neighborhood was my favorite hobby. It embodied vitality, creativity, and the joy of shared moments.

13. What do you do in your free time?

As an Ambassador for World Wellness Weekend, my free time is dedicated to building the movement in Hungary. Outside of my demanding job and family commitments, I focus on inspiring others to embrace a healthier, more balanced lifestyle. Whether it’s organizing events, connecting with like-minded individuals, or developing initiatives to bring wellness to communities, I find immense joy in creating opportunities for growth and vitality.

14. Red wine or white?

I rarely drink alcohol, but I would raise a glass at special occasions.

15. What advice would you give your younger self?

From a young age, I believed in the power of manifestation and kept a dream book where I recorded my aspirations. Looking back, I can honestly say that everything I set my mind to, I achieved—though it wasn’t without its challenges and setbacks. If I could offer advice to my younger self, it would be: Take risks and trust yourself. The path won’t always be smooth, but the rewards of courage and resilience far outweigh the fear of failure. You only live once, so embrace every opportunity with an open heart and bold determination.

16. Morning person or night person?

I’m naturally a night owl but aspire to join the 5 AM Club. Mornings are a time for clarity and creativity, and I admire those who seize the day so early.

17. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?

I believe in inspiring people to embrace wellness in all its forms—whether through sleep and rest, movement and vitality, or finding purpose in their daily lives. Encouraging people to become their best selves is a cause close to my heart. As an Ambassador of World Wellness Weekend since 2023, I feel committed to this social matter. World Wellness Weekend is the largest global wellness movement with 240 volunteering Ambassadors and wellness leaders across 160 countries.

18. Who can join this movement?

Practically anyone - individuals, companies, wellness studios, hotels, spas...ect. Support from sponsors and media platforms is especially valuable in bringing the information about the range of free programs to more and more people. If anyone would like to know more about the next wellness weekend in Sept 19-21 , feel free to reach out to me, Im happy to connect.

19. Which achievement in your life are you most pleased about?

I’m proud of stepping away from a regional manager role with Sony where I was looking after 9 countries to focus on my children during a career break. Afterwards, I transitioned into the health and wellness and challenged myself in a completely different industry. This year, I was honored to lecture at BGE University in Budapest and participate in Marriott’s Level-Up study program. Mentoring the next generation to embrace purpose and vitality brings me great joy.

20. What would you say is your personal motto?

“Do today what others won’t, so tomorrow you can do what others can’t.”
