Most people who come to Budapest know that this is not the city you visit to eat fresh fish and delicious seafood. There are some exceptions to the rule, but in general fish is not the speciality of the restaurants in Budapest. Fülemüle (Nightingale) Restaurant’s cooking strengths range from special home-made smoked meats, to stuffed goose-neck, along with perfectly cooked Argentine Angus steak for those with an international taste. For dessert, their walnut-crusted Matzah balls with chocolate coating are always good, as are the locally inspired sweet-noodles with apple, walnut, and poppy-seeds.
