The season’s last Grandhouse luncheon on June 16 hosted Dame Jane Goodall of chimpanzee fame before a blockbuster rapt audience of 85 guests, a roster of ambassadors among them, this time not as usual at the Academy of Science but at Kogart House gallery restaurant along the World Heritage listed Andrássy út.

On May 23rd, ISKCON Hungary has sent a group of volunteers to the flood and landslide affected Bosnia. The group will assist ISKCON Bosnia’s humanitarian work and will deliver emergency funds collected by the Hungarian community. MikulásGyár is open between 9 and 19 December (10am to 10pm) in 2010 for the sixth time at Felvonulási Tér to collect donations in order to offer a Merrier Xmas for 200.000 children. Helping needy families and children is the plan in 2010 as well at this 10-day-long humanitarian event.
