Britain is wrong to leave the EU, but the EU is to blame for the Brexit vote, a 60% majority of Hungarians told the government-linked Századvég institute in a recent survey. Most respondents, 69%, agreed that Great Britain is leaving because the EU does not listen to the public on critical matters such as illegal immigration. One-fourth said the decision to leave the EU has another cause.

Just over three-quarters of Hungarians, 76%, believe that the presence of refugees increases the likelihood of terrorism, a view shared by 71% of Poles.
