Theatres’ Popularity Unchanged In Hungary Since Transition To Democracy

Some 5 to 5.5 million theatre tickets are being sold annually in Hungary which demonstrates that theatre has been the art form that lost the least of its popularity since this country’s transition to democracy, the head of the alliance of theatre companies Magyar Teátrumi Társaság said in Kecskemét, in central Hungary, on Monday.
