The Budapest International Book Festival will be held between 28 September - 1 October with some 140 exhibitors and over 40 foreign authors attending, the organiser Hungarian Publishers’ and Booksellers’ Association confirmed.

The Netherlands and US sci-fi writer John Scalzi will be the guest of honour at this year’s International Book Festival which will also feature a roundtable of EU Literature Prize laureates between Sept 28 and Oct 1, the organisers said.
