I am the founding member and president of the Birdland Golf & Country Club established in 1991 in Bükfürdõ. As a co-owner I’m working for the tourism and real estate development project accomplished on the golf course that includes the 208 room Radisson SAS Birdland Resort & Spa Hotel and the 170 residencies in the Birdland Villapark.

Dr. Katalin Varga was initially denied a university place back in 1977 since her father worked at the US Embassy in Budapest and so her family were considered a 'political risk'. Therefore she started work with a technical firm and learnt computer skills from practical experience.

After achieving two degrees, one in Economics and one in German, Dennis Diokno went straight into a Masters program in International Management. Having completed his Masters, Dennis found the U.S. job market slow, so he applied for a Visa and headed to Moscow. It only took him six weeks to find a job, choose a place to stay, and develop a passion for expat living.

Wanderers, artists and music lovers first came here for the 1999 solar eclipse, and the Valley has since been home to O.Z.O.R.A for almost two decades. In the meantime a small village grew out of the ground again; with buildings, infrastructure, roads, restaurants, pubs, private plumbing, shower stalls.
The idea of another event, another few more days, during which the fields could be filled ...
