Barbara Angelus and Rózsa Varga, Gundel's current and former communications directors together recounted the 100th and 125th anniversaries of the restaurant at the HoReCa Meetup event, where later Kálmán Kozma introduced the innovative traditions, of which guests received abundant samples.

They glow in delicate raspberry pink, pistachio green or blueberry violet, and they are decorated with animal faces or flowers – the sweet pastries of Dia Késmárki and Bence Molnár are almost too good to eat. Nevertheless, you should not miss them, because the macarons not only look good but also taste delicious.

For the first time in Hungary this event will be entirely based on it’s French predecessor. Also the organisers told XpatLoop they've started drawing Hungary’s first ever Macaron Map.

Organisers told XpatLoop.com, "Visitors will have a chance to taste, smell and even learn how to bake the best macarons."
