Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is scheduled to visit Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on February 17 to discuss the Paks nuclear plant upgrade and other shared concerns, according to a report published yesterday in mno.hu, the web site of daily Magyar Nemzet. The meeting would take place exactly a year after the Russian leader visited Budapest.

More than half of Hungarians below the age of 40 support marriage, according to a survey by Kód Market, Opinion and Media Research Institute commissioned by online news portal 888.hu. Fully 56% of the survey’s respondents agreed with the statement that “marriage forms the basis of a regular family life”, the website said.

Hungary is putting its plan to issue yuan-denominated bonds on hold due to market turmoil, Dow Jones said, quoting a source familiar with the matter. “There is no time line for the issuance,” the source told Dow Jones. “Risk sentiment is weak and there’s not much interest in CNH bonds now. Investors are staying on the sidelines,” the source said. Offshore yuan is also known as CNH.
