During the debate on the agenda Mayor István Tarlós said there are moments, when a nation has to show that it is ready for an alliance and cooperation.

Hungary’s Tamara Csipes and Bence Dombvári, who have recently tested positive for cocaine, have been banned from competition for 10 months, the Hungarian Canoe-Kayak Federation announced. Hungarian Dóra Hegyi has achieved a historical success for Hungarian sport by winning the aerobic World Cup series. According to a statement issued by the national federation, Ms. Hegyi, of Debrecen in eastern Hungary, came third at the latest World Cup round held in Borovets, Bulgaria, securing her first position on final rankings.

A male and a female kayaker have had their membership in the Hungarian national team suspended after a drug test conducted at a training camp in Dunavarsány, south of Budapest, revealed that the two had been taking cocaine. The case does not classify as a doping violation because drug usage was detected at a routine check and not before a competition event.

In Ág, a small village in the southern Hungarian Baranya county, the locals washed themselves in wash tubs. Last year Habitat for Humanity appeared and offered building material for volunteer work.
