As part of their newspaper project some Year 6 pupils at BISB kindly requested to interview Mr John Marshall the Chairman of Vác FC last week as they searched for stories to feature in their international sports section. The club were happy to accept and in line with their social initiative ‘Vác FC in the Community’ the Vác FC Owner was more than delighted to participate.

The Budapest assembly unanimously approved an opposition proposal to restore a temporary homeless allowance in a vote on Monday. The related amendment submitted by opposition LMP deputy Antal Csárdi restores the ten-month 11,400 forint (EUR 38) monthly allowance scrapped at the beginning of March.

Addressing an event on World Water Day, President János Áder urged all Hungarians to do their part to preserving the country’s water resources for future generations. Speaking in Héviz, home to one of the largest thermal lakes in the world, Áder said it is a joint responsibility of all Hungarians to conserve the country’s water resources.
