Budapest Assembly Restores Temporary Homeless Allowance
The Budapest assembly unanimously approved an opposition proposal to restore a temporary homeless allowance in a vote on Monday. The related amendment submitted by opposition LMP deputy Antal Csárdi restores the ten-month 11,400 forint (EUR 38) monthly allowance scrapped at the beginning of March.

Csárdi cited the example of a homeless person who has become eligible to receive a pension but needs financial support until the completion of the administrative process.
