The official visit by the prime minister to Iran has been postponed at the request of the Iranian side. Viktor Orbán was scheduled to travel to Iran on Oct. 5, Orbán’s press chief said. Bertalan Havasi noted that more than 700 people died—many of them Iranians—in an incident that occurred during the annual Hajj pilgrimage last week near the city of Mecca.
