Twenty-seven ethnic groups from twelve countries will be represented at this year’s “Kurultáj Tribal Convention of Hun and Turk identity nations” to be held in Bugac, in south-central Hungary, on August 12-14. The biannual Kurultáj is a meeting of peoples of nomadic origin from the Central Asian steppe held to celebrate ancient Hungarian traditions.

Four bomb disposal experts died and another sustained severe injuries when a World War II bomb exploded in the Hortobágy National Park on Friday. The four were attempting to defuse two 250kg bombs on a military shooting range near Nádudvar when one of them went off for unknown reasons.
