This is the first time since the 1992 Barcelona Olympics that Hungary has come in the top ten. Taking population size into account, Hungary was the most successful nation in Europe. The Budapest Transport Centre and a sports marketing office have placed TV screens on some city trams to allow fans of the Olympics to watch the games while they travel. The TVs will appear on the 1, 1A, 3, and 61 trams during the Olympics.

Whether it was the first attempt at a new sport, or a newfound friendship, everybody came away from the Sports Center on June 16 with a cherished memory. The event, part of the „Road to London” Olympics event series and organized jointly by Seedling Trust and the Hungarian Special Olympics Committee, gave its participants a great day of sports, games and getting to know each other.
