Prime Minister Viktor Orbán participated at the inauguration of the Tiszaliget Stadium in Szolnok, central Hungary, on Saturday. Rebuilding the stadium cost more than 2 billion forints (EUR 6.4m), of which 600 million was covered by the local football club, 400 million by the state and the rest through corporate sponsorship linked to tax preferences, Orbán said.

The Hungarian Sailing Association (MVSZ) is to organise close to 170 competitions this year, with the traditional season-opening race on Lake Balaton to be held on 16 May at the town of Balatonfüred on the northern shore, the Association said at its first press conference of the year.
